As a Copy Editor, you will refine articles written by kid reporters, journalists, and content creators. Your role involves editing for grammar, tone, reading level, and factual accuracy while keeping the content fun and simple enough for children. You will maintain editorial guidelines, check structure, headlines, and captions, and ensure every edition meets Aksharshala’s publishing standards. This role demands exceptional attention to detail and a love for children’s literature, news, and education.

We seek someone who enjoys working with language, understands reading levels for children, and has excellent editorial judgment. Prior experience in newspapers, magazines, children’s content, or publishing is ideal. A calm editor who can work with multiple writers and deadlines will thrive.
